Overview

We provided a cut and fill earthworks package to level the site to form a playing field for Eden Park School. The insitu material was not suitable to be used in its natural state and was therefore modified through the stabilisation process to increase its properties to allow reuse on site.

Scope of work:

Barton were contacted by Hague who had secured work on a school development site with problematic materials which required specialist modification.

Our project team were quick to review the information provided and mobilise to site with very short notice in order to provide the required engineering solution to reduce down time on the project as a whole.

Site trials were undertaken to head off any issues on site to ensure that the works can be completed on site in the tight timescales by hitting the ground running with right equipment and materials to achieve the end product.
